June Construction Progress Report on EnviraPAC Monticello
This is June’s latest progress report on the EnviraPAC Powdered Activated Carbon Project in Monticello, Arkansas. Check out the photos below, and view the entire Project Report PDF here.
As of the end of June the site development is complete and hydro seeding of site slopes has been completed. Sedimentation control maintenance is ongoing and will continue throughout the project. Installation of main support foundations have been completed for all of the kilns. Concrete test samples are continuing to come back above the required levels. APAC silo erection has been completed and the silo erection crew has left the site. The main body and drive system for Carbonizer #1 & #2 have been installed. Assembly of Dryer #1 & #2 is progressing and is estimated to be completed in July.
Procurement of all time sensitive mechanical components is complete and 90% of all mechanical procurement has been completed. Structural design for the major items is finished and the remaining will be completed upon receipt of final certified equipment drawings. Electrical design is continuing to progress, major components have been delivered and are being installed. PLC racks are being wired and will be ready for installation soon. Critical utility installation contracts have been finalized by the owner and installation of services is being scheduled.
